  1. AIMIN NAEEM MY QUESTION: HOW MANY FAMILY MEMBERS DO YOU HAVE { INCLUDING YOU & PETS}?

  2. My Least Appropriate Graph

  3. Why Is This The Least Appropriate Graph? • This is the least appropriate graph because the line graph shows the value of something over a certain amount of time. But my question asks how many people you have in your family, not how many people you have in a certain amount of time. Another example that would fit the line graph would be if someone wanted to calculate how many toys were being sold in a week they would use a line graph.

  4. My Middle Graph

  5. My Most Appropriate Graph

  6. Why This Is The Most Appropriate Graph? • This is the most appropriate graph because a bar graph shows numbers of values of big quantities. And compared to my data I have large values. Another thing that a bar graph shows is comparison. What I mean by this is that if I were to compare how many family members do you have in your family with Miss Alessi’s class it would be much easier to read and do.

  7. Typical Stuff About My Data • The mean, median, mode, and range of my data is… Mean- 6.727 repeated (2727272727) Median- 6 Mode- 6 Range- 4-14 So a typical student as you can see by the median and the mode has 6 family members. The next slide will show you my data, but the place that is clustered is from 4-8 and I have 2 outliers one is 11 and the other is 14.

  8. Inferences & Statements Some inferences and statements about my graph and data are… 1. I have 2 outliers, one that is 11 and the other is 14. 2. My data also shows that lots of people 7 to be exact have 6 people in their family, pets or no pets. 3. And last is that lots of my info is clustered at 4-8 as I mentioned before.

  9. My Data • 0 people had 1 family member • 0 people had 2 family members • 0 people had 3 family members • 3 people had 4 family members • 4 people had 5 family members • 7 people had 6 family members • 4 people had 7 family members • 2 people had 8 family members • 0 people had 9 family members • 0 people had 10 family members • 1 person had 11 family members • 0 people had 12 family members • 0 people had 13 family members • 1 person had 14 family members • 0 people had 15 family members
