  1. Radial Balance Step-by-Step Instructions

  2. Fold paper in half along the diagonal.

  3. Then fold it along the other diagonal

  4. Open the paper and you should have a cross in the middle of the paper. This is your center point

  5. Put the metal point down in the center of your paper and then put the pencil point down. Turn the paper to make the circle.

  6. Fold the circle in half 3 times. When you open it you should have 8 equal sections.

  7. Draw your design in 1 section. Make sure that you have one thing that stretches from one edge to the other and one thing that is split on the edge. Then trace onto the tracing paper.

  8. After you trace the design you are ready to transfer it to the next section. Pick the tracing paper up and flip it over.

  9. Lay the tracing paper in the next section and line it up so that it matches the first section. Then trace it again.

  10. The first lines will transfer onto your paper when you trace them. Keep doing that process all the way around. (hint: The last section may not line up perfectly because you are not perfect. Just line it up the best you can.)

  11. Once you get all of the design traced in pencil you can go over it in Sharpie.

  12. After you have all of the design traced out you can start adding color • Remember to mix colors and add value. (ex: if the shape is pink maybe along one edge you could fade to purple to make it look darker) • Make your colors Bold and Bright
