Change • Targeted DMC ‘Worst Attenders’ • N=14 < 80% dosing in March 2010 • Counselors monitored patients and used motivational techniques • Implemented individualized strategies • Call patient after missing dosing • Reinforce benefits of daily dosing re: addiction tx • TH privileges (if applicable) • CA Budget Issue (elimination of DMC)

  8. Next Steps • Adopted the Change • More closely monitor attendance • Apply to entire OTP population

  9. Impact • Patients benefited clinically • More consistent dosing= more stabilized • Some qualified for TH privileges • Clinic benefited administratively • Increase in Revenue • Increase in staff experience doing rapid change (Change Team) • Some complacency after period of time
