I. Joy is a characteristic of Christian pilgrimage.喜樂是朝聖者的特質.(詩 Ps 126:2; 加 Gal 5:22-23; 帖前 1 Thess 5:16; 腓 Phil 4:4) • 腓 Phil 4:4 • Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! • 你們要靠主常常喜樂‧我再說,你們要喜樂‧
Joy is not a requirement, but a consequence, of Christian discipleship.喜樂不是作基督門徒 (朝聖者) 的條件, 而是它的结果 • 加 Gal 5:22-23 • 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. • 22聖靈所結的果子,就是仁愛,喜樂,和平,忍耐,恩慈,良善,信實,23溫柔,節制‧這樣的事,沒有律法禁止‧
Joy cannot be commanded, purchased, or arranged.喜樂是不能命令, 購買, 或安排的.
II. Joy is not a feeling; it is a response to the abundance and hope of living in God’s grace in faith and obedience.喜樂不是一種感覺, 而是以信心和順服活在神恩典中的一种必然回应.(詩 Ps 126:1-2) • “Decision” is the key. • 関鍵是在於一個人的”決定.”
III. Joy due to past salvation. 因過去救恩的喜樂.(詩 Ps 126:1-2; 出 Ex 15:1-2; 賽 Isa 40:1-2; 43:2-5; 52:7-8) • 1 When the Lord brought back the captive ones of Zion, we were like those who dream. 2 Then our mouth was filled with laughter and our tongue with joyful shouting; Then they said among the nations,“The Lord has done great things for them.” (Ps 126:1-2, NASB) • 1當耶和華將那些被擄的帶回錫安的時候,我們好像做夢的人‧2我們滿口喜笑,滿舌歡呼的時候,外邦中就有人說,耶和華為他們行了大事‧
IV. Joy due to present salvation.因現在救恩的喜樂.(詩 Ps 126:3, 4) • 3 God was wonderful to us; we are one happy people. 4 And now, God, do it again—bring rains to our drought-stricken lives. (Message) • 3 The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy. 4 Restore our fortunes, O Lord, like streams in the Negev. (NIV) • 3耶和華果然為我們行了大事,我們就歡喜‧4耶和華阿,求你使我們被擄的人歸回,好像南地的河水復流‧ (4 神啊, 求祢再度行大事, 降雨給我們乾旱的人生!)
V. Joy due to future salvation.因未來救恩的喜樂.(詩 Ps 126:5-6; 來 Heb 11:1) • 5 Those who sow in tears will reap with songs of joy. 6 He who goes out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with him. (NIV) • 5流淚撒種的,必歡呼收割‧6那帶種流淚出去的,必要歡歡樂樂地帶禾捆回來‧
VI. Disciples’/Pilgrims’ blessed behavior門徒 (朝聖者) 蒙福的行動(詩 Ps 126:5-6; 羅 Rom 5:3-5) • 5 Those who sow in tears will reap with songs of joy. 6 He who goes out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with him. (NIV) • 5流淚撒種的,必歡呼收割‧6那帶種流淚出去的,必要歡歡樂樂地帶禾捆回來‧ • Continue to sow God’s seed. (繼續撒种)
Joy is not the absence of sorrow & suffering; it is abundance and hope in God despite sorrow & suffering. 喜樂並不是因為沒有眼淚与痛苦; 而是在眼淚与痛苦中, 仍然有神所賜的豐盛与盼望. (詩 Psalm 126:5-6; 來 11:1)
In faith, our hope becomes reality.盼望在信心裡成為事實(來 Heb 11:1) • Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. (NASB) • 信就是所望之事的實底,是未見之事的確據‧
Our Response我們的回应 • Remember God’s past blessing. • 數算並牢記神以往的救恩与祝福. (感恩) • Claim our identity today. • 認定今天我们在主裡的身份与祂的作為. • Sow God’s seeds for the future in faith, despite tears and pain. • 以信心繼續為未來撒种 (即使有眼淚与痛苦) • Joy will come as part of our harvest and blessing from God. • 期待神所賜的丰收与喜樂.
