  3. Where it comes from It is made best in Germany and California but can also be mad in Canada ,NewZeland, Austria and Australia.

  4. It is a white wine that tends t0o grown better in different areas for intense in California it is a little bit dry. Where as Germany is more tart or “grape fruit”

Grape • The grape that it is makes Riesling is called Riesling and it is well even in stony soil and can be subsists on a minimum of moisture • It needs extra days of sun it ripening is very late, usually not until the later half of October. • Riesling produces elegant wines of rich character with an incomparable fragrance and taste, often reminiscent of peaches, or when young, apples. • In 1996, the vineyard area planted with Riesling exceeded that of Müller-Thurgau, thus making it Germany's premier grape variety in terms of area (ca. one fifth of all plantings). It is grown throughout German wine country.

When did it begine • The history of the Riesling vine can be traced back to Germany and the year 1435. • The first documented evidence comes from the cellar log of Count Katzenelnbogen at Ruesselsheim on 13th March 1435, when Klaus Kleinfish purchased six Riesling vines for the sum of 22 solidi.
