  1. Buying Dresses for your little princess? Criteria and Suggestion Building a wardrobe should be as fun when you do it for your kids as when you do it for yourself. Over time, the cute factor might change as she makes the transition from a baby to a toddler to a pre-teenager but the basics of buying clothes for kids overall remain the same. 

  2. What then are the criteria for buying dresses for your little princess? Don’t break your Bank – The pace of growth of a baby to the toddler stage will be much more than the next stage to a pre-teenager. But even then, when dresses hardly get past a season, why should you break the Bank buying them. Look for sales and discounts and do not avoid consignment stores. It even makes sense to dress up toddlers in pre-worn wear when it comes to tops and bottoms. 

  3. Dresses that will hold up – Focus on dresses that will withstand a lot of wear and tear. Once your kid is back from the playground via a puddle you have to immediately dump the clothes in the washing machine. This routine repeated every day will naturally take a toll on the clothes. Buy dresses made of tough and long lasting materials.  On the other hand, when you buy party-wear for your kid, look for exceptional dresses that will make her stand out in a crowd. Avoid any decorative elements or appliqués on the dresses that might cause itching and irritation.  Another critical aspect to consider is the ease with which you can change clothes quickly. Buy bottoms that have an elastic waist instead of buttons and tops with neck holes big enough for the head to easily slip through.  Keep these things in mind when you buy dresses for your little princess.
