I. Search for Life’s Purpose • Philosophy - is the study of general and fundamental problems concerning matters such as existence, knowledge, values, reason, mind, and language
Colossians 2:8-10 • Don’t let anyone capture you with empty philosophies • From human thinking • From spiritual powers of this world • In Christ lives all the fullness of God • You are complete through your union with Christ
Word of the Lord – February 28, 2010 You are searching for your place of significance for that which brings meaning and purpose to life. As you search, there is one place that it will be found for certain, that is in Me. As I impart My power to you, My grace to you, enabling you to do the many things… the Many things…the MANY things that I have called you to do, you will find your purpose, you will find your significance, you will find the fulfillment of life in Me, says the Lord your God.

In employment • Employment is not a curse - Genesis 2:15 "Then the LORD God took the man and put him into the garden of Eden to cultivate it and keep it.“
Psalm 37:3-5 • Take delight in the Lord • He will give you your heart’s desires, planting his desires in your heart • The motive to pursue his will for you
III. Conclusion • Colossians 1:16 (MESSAGE) “For everything, absolutely everything, … got started in him and finds its purpose in him.” • (Acts 17:28) "For in him we live, and move, and have our being; ...“ • In Him will be our purpose, fulfillment, and satisfaction
Reflection Time • Are you interested in knowing what is written about your days in God’s book of your life? Is there any way of knowing? If so, How? • How can you guard yourself from being taken captive by worldly philosophies and human thinking? • Do you know your gift of grace for serving the Lord? Are you lazy with unemployed gifts or are you serving enthusiastically?
