Structure of a COE A Collection of Evidence is built from tasks. Tasks are a scenario-based set of questions. The scenario provides a context for 3 - 4 constructed response questions. The questions are aligned to the same content standards as those assessed on the Biology EOC exam.
What is in a Collection? A collection is a set of six to eight student work samples. Work samples are the tasks that have been completed by the student. 2-3 “On Demand” tasks where none of the individual questions on a task may be opened for review or revision. 4-6 “Extended Time” tasks that students may complete individual questions in a task over more than one class period or session.
When is the Collection DUE? Student submission to Mrs. Smith Jan 20, 2015 Mrs. Smith submits to OSPI Jan 23, 2015
