To qualify for a free central heating grant in Leicester from ECO4, you must: • Be a homeowner or private tenants (not government-owned properties) • Have an existing boiler that’s at least 14 years old • Receive certain government benefits like • Pension Credit • Child Tax Credit • Income Support • Universal Credit • Have an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) rating of D or below • Be connected to the gas mains supply (excludes LPG, biomass, and oil boilers) • If you meet the requirements in Leicester, the process to receive a free boiler is simple.
