  2. Agenda • Unit 1 project due Monday (3/20) • Metadata completed and cleaned on google doc • TEI encoding of 3 LH • Response paper • Activity on significance of interpretations • Peer review of encoding • TEI Workshop

  3. Rhetoric and Interpretation of Data • Think about the interpretations you had to make when encoding the individual life histories. • Look at your post from the metadata interpretation activity • Add to it with your interpretations from your encoding experience. • Do you see general patterns of interpretation that emerge? • What is the significance of these interpretations?

  4. TEI review • With a partner in your group, review their life history mark-up. • Look out for tags that are not closed • Issues that still need to be tagged • Correct form of metadata in the header

  5. TEI Workshop • Use our remaining time to encode your remaining life histories, and ask any questions that come up.
