Diary of a Wimpy Kid By Jeff Kinney
Greg’s family is starting a new year with their own goals, Greg’s mum’s goal was to try and go to the gym every day, his dad’s was to go on a strict diet. His younger brother said ‘he is a good boy’ and he’s going to throw away his dummy.
Greg’s older brother didn’t have one so Greg made one, it was called ‘three strikes and you’re out’. What he has to do is try not to hit or hurt someone. In the end no one actually did anything right.
Last of all Greg had one to help others improve who they are, so at Greg’s school he was calling everyone gentlemen, but no one would respond.
In his class everyone was fighting so he tried to stop it all and get them all to say sorry to each other. I loved this book because it’s quite long with 217 pages. That means that you want to keep on reading on and on.
All of the illustrations are black and white which are very detailed, that’s what makes the book so interesting. On every page there is a picture.
