  3. Boy – Trapped in a boat with 36 other suffering waiting to see “Girl” Girl – Stuck in Haiti ,stressed out waiting to see “Boy” . Madam Rogers – An older woman who is stuck in Haiti , finds out that her son got killed and goes to collect his head . Characters .

  4. This book takes place in two settings in Haiti & on a boat . Setting .

  5. Plot . This book is about a young boy & girl that are separated because the Haitian Milita decides to take over & kill their population . The boy has to go on a boat and the girl has to stay in Haiti . They write letters to each other but don’t send them they keep them aside when they see each other again . Both the boy & girl go through and see horrible things .

  6. Opinion . My opinion of this book is that its very sad and it makes you think what people actually went threw. The story didn’t have an ending but if I had to make an ending myself I would want the boy and girl to be with each other forever : )
