Some argue that athletes receive a free education in the form of scholarships BUT, what they fail to realize is that the scholarship is only for school. None of that cash gets in their pockets
At Northwestern University, the players formed a union against them not being paid. NCAA rules state that a collegeathlete is considered an employee. You have to pay your employees orwho’ll create your money?
Coaches and recruits make big bucks off of these athletes yet, the athleteswho are working tirelessly on the field, get nothing. Not to mention the millions of dollars that go to constructing lavish facilities but, the athletes get nothing? That goes to show the SELFISHNESS of these schools.
Also, these college athlete attract not only more athletes but, more students to the school.
PAYS THESE ATHLETES! They workso hard for their schools, themselves, and families and to work so hard for something they DESERVE is unreal.
