The key areas • how do we increase housing supply? • what do we do about under-occupied homes? • how should Government support particular tenures & what’s the purpose of social housing? • whose homes should be publicly subsidised? • what effects will welfare benefit reform have? • how important is security (generally and in relation to security of tenure)? • what else is important for people’s homes – eg. quality, freedom, status, independence?
The key areas • how important is it that people can get involved in decision-making? • should there be more tenant controlled homes? • what role should the regulator play? • should there be a single national tenant organisation? How should it be resourced?
