Improving Water Quality through Voluntary Ag Forestry Database: Rappahannock River Basin Commission Strategy

This strategy aims to establish and maintain a comprehensive database of implemented Best Management Practices (BMPs) that effectively reduce nutrient and sediment losses to state waters in the Rappahannock River Basin. It is a collaborative effort between the Secretary of Natural Resources (SNR) and the Secretary of Agriculture and Forestry (SAF) to promote voluntary agricultural and forestry practices for enhanced water quality.
