Your total score is the combination of your evidenced-based reading/writing and math scores. • The highest score you can earn in Reading/Writing: 760 (range 160-760) • The highest score you can earn in Math: 760 (range 160-760) • The highest TOTAL score you can earn: 1520 (range 320-1520) • These scores give you an idea of how you will do on the newly designed SAT and how ready you are for college.

  5. Subject Scores, Subscores and Cross-Test Scores • Scores in green represent your strengths. • Scores in yellow and red represent where you can grow and improve.

  6. National Merit Qualification • National Merit Scholarships are for 11th grade students only. • If you see an asterisk (*) next to your index score, that means you did not meet the 2017 NMSQT qualification requirements.

  7. Next Steps… • Use the Skills Index to look at the skills you have mastered and the skill areas you can still improve upon. • This will help you as you study and prepare to take the SAT.

  8. Individual Question Feedback • Use your test book to review your answers. • This will give you practice questions and areas to focus on when you prepare for the SAT.

  9. Using YOUR Resources • Use the unique access code provided to you by College Baord. • You can find individual question explanations for each question on the PSAT. • You will also find hundreds of SAT practice test questions, test prep materials, college planning resources, and much more!
