Maths Exam Board and Course: Edexcel 1MA1 Tiers of Entry Higher – Grades 4 to 9 Foundation – Grades 1 to 5 Achieving a grade 4 or a grade 5 are equivalent on both higher and foundation it does not matter for colleges or employers which tier has been taken. The course is 100% final examination. There are 3 exams. Paper 1 – Non Calculator – 21st May (am) Paper 2 – Calculator – 6th June (am) Paper 3 – Calculator – 11th June (am)

  3. Science Overview Triple Science; AQA Exam Board 6 papers, each 1 ¾ hours 2x Biology 2x Chemistry 2x Physics Specific topics for each paper Combined Science: AQA Exam Board 6 papers, each 1 ¼ hours 2x Biology 2x Chemistry 2x Physics Specific topics for each paper

French For the speaking element of the course students need to complete • Role-play (2 mins F) (2 mins H) • Photo card (2 mins F) (3 mins H) • General conversation (3-5 mins F) (5-7 mins H) Therefore it is vital that they have regular practice speaking the target language. In order to assist with this we are offering some bespoke revision afterschool. This GSCE includes 4 exams which are all worth 25% of the final grade. This examination is tiered (Higher/Foundation) • Listening • Speaking • Reading • Writing
