Types of houses • The central part of the town was buildings that were square or rectangular. • There homes were, large consisting of a lodge that was surrounded by four smaller buildings • These lodges was built on top of a pavilion, with a wide staircase leading to it. • The less wealthy ones lived in these homes surrounding the buildings.
Government Structure • They had a king by the name of ‘Ezana he ruled from c.330-356 AD. He succeeded his father, Ella Amida and ruled the Axum empire ,when he was just a child with his mother as his supervisor, and regent. He took over the Kush empire during his reign.
