The School Improvement Plan Goal Statement Measurable Objectives Strategy Statements Activities
Updating Activities • Your Goals, Objectives and Strategies should not change from year to year. • Unfortunately ASSIST “forces” you to update your Goals, Objectives and Strategies each year even if you are continuing with them. • Update your Activities in the “sandbox” at the Goals and Plans Tab. • Once that is completed you can create an updated plan (you cannot edit your existing 3-year plan). • Gentle reminder: You MUST have data in your CNA to support the need for any activities in your School Improvement Plan that you want to have the district include in the consolidated application for Title IIA funding.
Using your CNA to plan your PL activities • The Instruction Department provides a wide range of services, many at no charge and others for a fee. • You are analyzing your data and determining your strategies and activities for 2019-20. This is also the time to determine the professional learning needs of your staff that will be implementing the strategies and activities. • The more that you plan that out this spring, the smoother your year will go next year.
