Learning Objectives • To introduce MPA students to NPO Management Fundamentals and how NPO Management has evolved into strict professional discipline over the past centuries. • To encourage MPA students to share their professional NPO experiences. • To raise the bar of introductory NPO education being offered in other programs and universities.
Learning Objectives • This module will give the program participants a detailed insight into first getting the understanding of non-profit organisations basic knowledge with examples, strategic management perspectives in non-profit organisations, dimensions of non-profit sector in Pakistan, laws governing NGOs, charitable organisations and trust, leadership in non-profit world, Role of Power in NPOs, Role of Accountability in NPOs will be discussed and imparted to identify elements for policy decision making. Example of one Policy Research Report “Perceptions of Humanitarian Agenda 2015-Pakistan Earth Quake Study” will be discussed. Moreover, this module will provide participants an opportunity to learn how to devise policy making: Strategy Formulation and Strategy Implementation, Perceptions of various stake holders during policy making, influence of political, bureaucratic, economic and other factors while devising a policy for NPO, Result Base Management and Logical Frame work Method, Process of Decision Making, Individual and Team Level Decision Making, Criteria to judge Quality Decision Making.
