NeSA – Writing Grades 4, 8 2010-11 – Holistic Scores, same cut scores Analytic rubrics available but not used in state scoring until the following years: 2011-12 – Grade 8 2012-13 – Grade 4
To make copies of booklets in grades 4 and 8 … Do not take booklets apart Must use #2 pencil All students in grades 4, 8 will have scoring sheet that needs to be completed
Papers written in Spanish and other languages sent in to DRC with student cover sheet. DRC will record student in database and send papers back to NDE for scoring/accounting.
If student is taking a local alternate assessment (1%) an answer sheet is filled in and sent to DRC. The 1% writing assessment itself is not sent in.
