  3. Contact for students: • When you leave for your trip please give students my google voice phone number and not my personal number. Here is my number for students: • 904-297-8699 • Please do not give students my work email address in outlook. They need to email me at nfoleygilbert1@learn.flvs.net • We now have access to your email in educator but please in your goodbye email tell students to email me at my address which will be checked more frequently.

  4. Let’s Talk Vacation!!!!! • Just so you relax about what we will be doing while you are gone, here are the things we will take care of in your classroom while you are gone: • Grading-through Friday at 8pm-Friday 8pm • Outgoing Calls • Monthly Calls (Try to limit to no more than 25 your covering teacher will need to make)-We will call those needing a call the week you are gone not the week after so you may have calls you need to start making the day you return • Welcome calls/second attempt calls depending on wait list • Incoming Calls • DBAs, help calls • Emails responded to • No work emails/grace period monitoring • "Passing" any information back to you, and logging everything in VSA for you. • *No work and grace period calls time permitting

What we need from you! • Passwords to exams • List of students you do not want contacted • List of students who will need a second attempt welcome call • Students you want us to NAC/WNG, if none given we will leave this for you • (The lead teachers will usually leave all withdrawals and grades to be issued for you to avoid conflict with the student/family since you know them best.) • Any students who are away or have permission to not be working • Copy of your welcome email/second attempt welcome email • List of students who will need activated • You must clear out contact instuctor • You need to email your student's you will be away and tell them the dates they can contact the lead and list the lead teachers educator email address not their outlook (Don’t refer to us as “subs”-we want the kids to work just as much for us as they do for you!) • Right before you leave, update your voicemail that you are on vacation. • Set up a time to speak to your lead before you leave for your trip-this is mandatory • All lessons graded up through Friday at 8pm • The leads will put up their banner for your students with their contact info once your vacation starts. Please give us any html coding or forcing slides you want up when you’re gone. Do not put these up before you go-kids will start calling and we may be covering for another teacher.

  6. BON VOYAGE!!!!!!! Have FUN! Don’t sign into your class while away. Turn your phone and computer off, and know that we will take care of as much as possible!!
