Know About Shopper • Shopper allows you to request product quickly and easily through the Penn web portal. Using the Penn Marketplace, you can: • Search for product by a variety of methods • Refine search results using various filters • Check product availability • Get real-time pricing • Save frequently ordered items in your Favorites folder • Shopper allows you to send your completed shopping cart to a business colleague who has access to BEN Buys --- known as the Assignee --- and who will complete the ordering process via BEN Buys. It is the responsibility of the faculty and staff members to adhere to Purchasing Services procurement policies.
Logo goes here • Know About Creating an Order • Shoppers create orders through the Penn Marketplace. To create an order: • Log onto the Penn Marketplace through the web portal, using your PennKey and password • Search for and select product by a variety of search methods • Add the appropriate quantity of each product to your shopping cart • Add comments that describe why the order is needed and how it will be funded • Submit your shopping cart to an Assignee for approval, and completion of the ordering process Shoppers can order only from Penn Marketplace suppliers and not all Penn Suppliers are available through this system. Orders using Non-Marketplace suppliers must be created by those who have access to BEN Buys.
