Cyber Bullying Facts: Stealing a person's account information to break into their account and send damaging messages. Pretending to be someone else online to hurt another person feelings. Taking unflattering pictures of a person and spreading them through cell phones or the Internet can be very harmful to other people. Sexing, or circulating sexually suggestive pictures or messages about a person can be cyber bullying.
Ways to stop cyber bullying: • Don’t respond • Block the bully • Be civil • Don’t be a bully
Cyber safety tips: • Keep the computer in an area where it can be monitored, like the family room, kitchen or living room, not in your child’s bedroom. • Watch your children when they’re online and see where they go. • Don’t share your person information.
