  14. Recuva • What is it? What does it do? • It’s a way of recovering deleted files on your computer. When you delete a file, it’s not (usually) immediately replaced; instead, the file is marked for deletion, which means that your computer is now free to put other information in that space. Recuva can change that data back into a regular file, provided that it hasn’t yet been overwritten.
