琴譜方便揭 Our Innovation Motor 摩打 Battery cells 電池 Belt 運輸帶 Small Plate with rubber band covering 小膠板和橡皮筋 Switch 開關
Working Principle • switch is pressed • motor will spin and pull the belt to move • small plate on the belt will contact with the score • the friction between the small plate and score flips the score.
Materials Used • mainly made of acrylic (light & hard) • recycled materials such as • motor from a broken CD player and • belt taken from a pair of unfit trousers
Advantages • Stop traditional way of flipping scores from affecting the fluency for the performance. • Help the disabled people as a reading tool • Not Expensive • Convenient & Portable • Can be used with different instruments
Discussion & Further Improvement
LCD Score Display NO? How about…
Problem 1: Can the score be flipped in the opposite direction? Answer: Another set of flipping component with a reverse circuit can be added to our production.
Problem 2: Will the noise made by the product disturb the user while playing? Answer: To solve this problem, we covered the motor by pieces of plastic. The noise produced is minimized.
Problem 3: Will the production crimple the score while the belt moves? Answer: The speed of the motor will be adjusted so it will not crimple the paper.
