Karnataka Travel Guidelines Today • Travelers coming into Karnataka from Maharashtra and Kerala have to mandatorily carry RT-PCR negative report not older than 72 hours irrespective of the vaccination status. Guests not carrying the same will be denied boarding at the orginating airport. • Arrivals from Kerala - 7 Days institutional Quarantine irrespective RTPCR/Vaccinated • It is mandatory for passengers arriving from ANY state to carry a RT-PCR/TRUENAT negative report from ICMR approved lab not earlier than 72 hours. RT-PCR timeline starts from the swab collection time. Passengers arriving without negative RT-PCR report will be subject to RT-PCR test (free of cost) & fill up self-declaration form. • Travellers from other states are allowed to travel in Karnataka • No quarantine if asymptomatic passengers on arrival. However, they shall selfmonitor their health for 14 days from the date of their arrival for any symptoms of COVID-19 like fever, cough, cold, throat pain, difficulty in breathing etc. • Having symptoms suggestive of COVID-19 they shall immediately self-isolate immediately and seek medical consultation or call Apthamitra helpline 14410.

Passenger obligation: • Negative RT-PCR certificate not older than 72 hours or vaccination certificate of at least one dose of COVID 19 vaccine shall be compulsory produced by the passengers travelling to Karnataka from Maharashtra. • Exemption Permitted for negative RT-PCR certificate are as follows: • 1. Vaccination certificate of having received at least one dose of Covid-19 vaccine. • 2. Constitutional functionaries and health care professionals. • 3. Children below 2 years. • 4. In dire emergency situation (death in the family, medical treatment etc.) the passenger's swab will be collected on arrival in Karnataka with necessary details like phone number, address etc., duly verifying from his ID. On receipt of the RT-PCR test report, further action will be taken as per the state protocol.
