HFH (Homeless Future Homes) A Heart For The Homeless
Our creation Our creation is an igloo shaped home to keep it cool and cut down on cost. The igloo shape also helps the homeless identify that its a place for them only. It includes a bed, toilet, refrigerator, , and updated technology stations.
Our purpose The purpose of HFH is to create a decent, suitable and safe home for the homeless. The HFH is different from a homeless shelter because the homeless can only stay up to 6 months. The HFH is more updated with the newest technology so that the homeless can look for jobs.
Materials for the HFH • Thin dark carpet • Tiles • Sod • Brick • Wood • Toys • Kitchen supplies • Fire safety supplies • Bathroom supplies • Living room supplies • Bedroom supplies • Laundry room supplies • Updated technology • Bus for transportation
Rules • Complete and sign a HFH agreement. • Homeless can only stray in HFH up to 6 months. • NO fighting. • Respect the HFH staff and each other. • Shower daily. • Clean assigned areas every other day. • Wash clothes once a week • Homeless must be on the computer to research jobs at least 3 times a week until you find a job.
Marketing We explained that most of the costs will come for donations to cover designing HFH homes, utilities and food. Our costs are about $10,000 to build HFJ homes, but furniture and pay utilities.
