  3. Köyceğiz is relatively a small town with a population of 8700. It has a beautiful lake which is one of only three in the world having access to the sea via Dalyan Channel. It is on a 52 km2 lake.

  4. It is surrounded by beautiful mountains and the waters which help to feed the lake. In the winter there is snow in those mountains while it hardly ever snows in the town center.

  5. Apart from being a typical Turkish Town and having a magnificent lake Köyceğiz is also famous for its liquid amber trees and fruit growing. Oranges , lemons,, tangerine growing are big business in the area and surrounding villages.

  9. In the morning get up and walk along the lake shore. The lakeside is designed for walking. You can have breakfast by the lake in one of the tea gardens. Those who wish to cool down can swim in the waters of the lake in summer.
