  1. Why Join an ARL Career Academy? • 13 Career Academy programs • All academies are CTE Completers - one of three pathways to graduation • Prepares students for College AND Careers • Two Locations - ARL or each high school Transportation provided to and from ARL daily

  2. Career Academy Requirements • Specific career focused courses Most Academies require a minimum of 4 credits (sequence of coursework). • Capstone Project or Worksite Experience • Project-Based learning opportunities • Students must provide own transportation to worksite.

  3. College and Career Ready • Learn with other students who have the same interests that you have • Be mentored by an expert in the field • Participate in worksite experiences while still in high school

  4. College and Career Ready • Earn college credit • Earn industry certifications • Attend special student activities and field trips
