  13. Conclusions • Plk3 inhibits p73α-mediated transcription activation, whereas kinase-deficient Plk3 fails to inhibit p73α-mediated transcription activation. • Plk3 inhibits the p73α-mediated apoptosis through physical interaction and phosphorylation.
