  1. What will your child be learning in the Spring Term ? Literacy: In Literacy we will be leaning: • Poems to perform: 2weeks • Authors and letters: 3 weeks • Adventure, mystery stories with familiar settings: 5 weeks • Reviewing informational texts and reports: 2 weeks Numeracy: This term in Numeracy we will be covering: Multiplying TU X U Adding vertically Subtracting vertically Dividing with remainders Solving problems using measures Fractions Reflective Symmetry Data Handling R.E. The children do RE every Thursday afternoon with Mrs Golding. The focus for this term is preparation for First Holy Communion. Science: In Science we cover a different topic each half term. The topics are: • Magnets & Springs • Teeth & Eating A Creative Curriculum Did you know that children learn best when their learning is linked? This is why we will be learning all about ….. through lots of different subjects. ICT: *Using Email – including e-safety ** Using a program to Manipulate Sound Geography/History: Our Local area: Exploring our surrounding area now, and looking at how it has changed over time. Art & DT: We will be using a variety of media to make visual representations of aspects of our locality.
