How do internal and external forces help people grow? • Standard: ELASE6RI1 – Cite textual evidence to support analysis of what the text says explicitly as well as inferences drawn from the text. • Learning Targets: Identify claims. Elect your position on these claims. Support your claim with logical reasoning and relevant evidence.
Language Arts – Work Session01/22/18 Novel Studies • Now, determine what you think the theme of the story will be. • Be prepared to present and discuss the following items to the class: • How you know what the theme of your novel will be; • What lead you to this conclusion; • What you anticipate being in the book; and • What you have learned from the materials you have. • You may work with your tablemates and present as a group. Each group will have about 3-5 minutes to talk.
