Relevance of work I think my project work is very essential. The book was written many years ago but today it is popular with many people. This work is full of humour and it is interesting to represent oxymoron, that is putting together words which seem to contradict each other. The work by Lewis Carrol is priceless and makes a great impression on all generations. It’s a pity that some young people don’t have a desire to read such a masterpiece.
Fairy tale”Alice in Wonderland”was written in 1864 by English author Lewis Carroll.
”Alice in Wonderland”is a bit ahead of its time. Already in the literature of the 20th century, in the works by many fashionable and talented authors people could observe their desire to bring everything to the point of absurdity, to send readers on a journey that will be limited by the law of logic or the requirements of any particular genre.
At the same time we see in ”Alice in Wonderland”– Carroll doesn’t care about the facts which are not real in our life, they seem to be exciting and stunning. However, he does it with such genial kindness, so mentally that people can’t help admiring his book.
Oxymoron Oxymoron is a figure of speech in which two opposite ideas are joined to create an effect. The common oxymoron phrase is a combination of an adjective proceeded by a noun with contrasting meanings, e.g. “cruel kindness” or “living death”. It comes from the Ancient Greek word oxumoron, a compound of the words oxus, meaning “sharp” or “keen” and moros, meaning “dull” or “stupid.” Therefore it means something akin to wise foolishness.

Soup does very well without--maybe it’s always pepper that makes people hot-tempered,” she went on, very much pleased at having found out a new kind of rule, “and vinegar that makes them sour--and chamomile that makes them bitter--and--and barley-sugar and such things that make children sweet-tempered. I only wish people knew that: then they wouldn’t be so stingy about it, you know--”
Королева как закричит: Убить Время! Он хочет убить Время! • Чего там не понимать, - сказал Болванщик. Живут же рыбы в воде. • Больше я туда ни за что не пойду! - твердила про себя Алиса, пробираясь по лесу. • В жизни не видела такого глупого чаепития! • Был там и Белый Кролик; он что-то быстро и нервно говорил и всем улыбался. Как только он убежал, голова Кота начала медленно таять в воздухе,.. .
