Verification of Immigration Status and Citizenship: FFM and SBM Requirements • Lawful Permanent Residents • FFM asking for 2#s: front and back of green card (in addition to name and DOB) • Naturalized Citizens • FFM asking for naturalization certificate # (in addition to SSN)
Identity Verification • HHS contracts with Experian • Barriers: • Lack of credit history for electronic verification • Restrictive list of documents for manual verification • Inability to upload documents • Inability to communicate through interpreters • Continued advocacy needed
