New Features of CRS SE Services • CRS Supported Employment is a milestone system • No longer Case Service Code (569X) for SE Hours • Seven codes for Supported Employment: • Intake - 571X • Pre-Employment Assessment/Job Development -572X • Job Placement Day 5 - 573X • Job Placement Day 45 - 574X • Retention/rehabilitation - 575X • Hours per Week Quality Bonus - 576X • Hourly Wage Quality Bonus - 577X
Provider Expectations • Actively involve consumers and their families throughout the service delivery process. • Pursue the employment goals detailed by ACCES-VR/NYSCB by providing a consumer-centered decision making process. • Consider both the consumer's and employer's satisfaction with the services provided and with the job placement itself. • Report in a timely fashion as required to ACCES-VR/NYSCB on programmatic and fiscal details. • Deliver SE services in accordance with federal/state standards and any additional contractual obligations.
Knowledge and Skill Development SE providers have the primary responsibility to ensure the quality & expertise of its direct service staff. • Providers are strongly encouraged to send staff to CASE training • Providers may design structured in-house curriculum to supplement the CASE training. • Supervisors should have or develop expertise in SE for ongoing supervision and guidance to staff. • Supervision must take into account that duties are performed in the field, which does not permit informal collegial support of its direct service staff.
