What is District 60 B Forward • A 5-year initiative to help strengthen clubs and to enable them to achieve excellence in service and club performance over the long-term • A Road Map to help clubs chart their own future in keeping with their own needs and aspirations. • It provides for a Support Network to provide assistance and training to clubs • It has in place an oversight structure to ensure continuity from year to year DISTRICT 60 BFORWARD: Strategic Plan: 2018-19 -2023-24

MANDATE FOR DISTRICT LEADERSHIP: Helping Clubs Navigate Their Road Map ENGAGE CLUBS • Help Clubs Establish Their Club Forward Team • Facilitate Club Health/Risk Assessments • Help Identify interventions to be addressed immediately • Help Clubs Plan a Club Retreat to formulate longer-term strategic initiatives • Help Clubs Identify Focus Areas and Formulate strategic Initiatives • Help Clubs Develop short term and longer-term action plans • Monitor Implementation of Plans • Implement training modules for the club- 1per quarter DISTRICT 60 BFORWARD: Strategic Plan: 2018-19 -2023-24

MANDATE FOR DISTRICT LEADERSHIP: Helping Clubs Navigate Their Road Map FACILITATE CLUB TRANSFORMATION • Help Clubs Develop short term and longer-term action plans • Monitor implementation of Club Plans • Implement training modules for the club- 1per quarter • Direct Clubs to support available from the Support Network • Make Reports to Oversight Teams and District Governor • Communicate feedback to all FACILITATE THE TRANSITION • Arrange a smooth transition to your Successor to ensure continuity  • Help Clubs make a smooth transition to the next administration to build on continuity DISTRICT 60 BFORWARD: Strategic Plan: 2018-19 -2023-24

11. THE IMPLEMENTATION TEAM • Role: Engage and empower clubs to develop and execute Club forward plans for their continuing development. Serve as a Think Tank to support Zone and Region Chairs and help solve Club Problems: • Members: 1stVDG, 2ndVDG – Chair, • RCs, ZCs, IP RCs, IP ZCs • District Global Action Team (GAT) GST, GLT, GMT • District LCIF Coordinator • District Technology/Website Chair DISTRICT 60 BFORWARD: Strategic Plan: 2018-19 -2023-24

THE CLUB FORWARD TEAM • Role: To oversee the development and implementation of a Club plan to promote continuing club development. • Members: President – Chair, Immediate Past President • Vice Presidents, Membership Director, LCIF Club Coordinator, Global Action Team Members DISTRICT 60 BFORWARD: Strategic Plan: 2018-19 -2023-24

THE YEAR AHEAD: Engagement of Clubs • Incentives: District Contest to provide incentives for engagement • Continuing Support via Meetings of Oversight and Implementation Teams • Continuous Development of Support Network to provide aid and assistance to Clubs   • Continuous Development of Training Workshops (Leadership Development Curriculum)

THE YEAR AHEAD: Engagement of Clubs • Promotion of District 60B Forward • By DG during Club Visitations • By Region and Zone Chairs during their Club Visitations • Communication Programme • Promotional Materials: Distribution of Promotion Kit; Newsletters and Communication Bulletins to be developed and circulated • Website Support for District 60B Forward and Club Engagement • Social Media Platform for District 60B Forward and Club Engagement

THE YEAR AHEAD: Engagement of Clubs • Club Health/Risk Assessment • Club Health Assessments to take place with oversight by Zone Chairs to identify risks to club health • Joint Action Planning to address risks to Club Health to be developed by Zone Chairs and Club Presidents   • Progress Review of District 60B Forward: • Zone Chair Follow-up with Clubs • At Region and Zone Meetings (Progress Reviews, Workshops, etc.)

THE YEAR AHEAD: Engagement of Clubs • Training Workshops focused on clubs needs identified • At Zone and Region Meetings • At Cabinet Meetings • Initiatives by GAT to support Clubs • Initiatives by LCIF District Coordinators to engage Clubs in Supporting LCIF Campaign 100 • Reports on District 60B Forward • Monthly via Zone Chair Reports • At Cabinet Meetings
