GPTS incorporated to serve the proficiency testing needs of the laboratory seeking for the accreditation. As per the requirements of ISO 17025, clause no. 5.9, this is one of the requirements to participate in the PT programme and lab seeking for accreditation must have to pass through this quality assurance tool to check their capability in terms of accuracy of the results reported by them at the end of testing and to ensure that, whether those results are in line with the other accredited laboratories.
