  1. Significance of Burnt Rice Husk in our Private and Commercial Needs Rice is something that people all over the world consume in large quantities. Though the consumption pattern extends to the west too, the highest consumption rate lies in Asian countries like India, China, etc. The production of rice from crops gives rise to a by-product called ‘Rice Husk’. It is estimated that around 1 billion tons of Rice Husk is made in Asian countries every year. Methodically disposed off earlier, it was only in the recent years that people discovered the importance of burnt rice husk. This led to rapid changes in the way it was treated and used in the Industry, as more and more uses for it soon came out. Rice husk is normally burnt by people in a number of applications and uses. They burn it as a source of fuel in boilers that process paddy. They also burn this in heating up or simply for disposing of it since it reduces up to 1/4th in quantity once it’s burned. This process gives us

  2. burnt rice husk that people earlier used to dispose of. Thankfully, you can use this amazing material today for all of the benefits it offers. Why Burnt Rice Husk or Rice Husk Ash is is so important for use in Commercial Needs? 1)Quality Source of Silica: Industrialists use silica fume and micro silica in various applications in the factories. It’s usually imported from other countries to India like Norway, China, etc. The cost of artificial silica has also become a lot since there’s always more demand than the amount being supplied. Ash from burnt rice husk however, is an excellent source of amorphous silica which is organic, and can be used by anyone for the same applications. 2)Use it to Bind Concrete or Cement: The ash we receive from burnt rice husk is great for being used as a binder in mixing or supplementing the process. You can use it for mixing cement properly because of how reactive it is by nature. It is a cheaper alternative that can be used in construction projects. This is because it becomes active once mixed with cement or concrete pastes, thus removing the requirement for costlier, artificial materials. 3)Great Pozzolanic Property: Because of the reactive nature of the rice hull ash you can obtain from burnt rice husk, you’ll find that it’s great in making concrete mixes. There’s no need for any artificial reactive agent. This feature of it makes it essential in processes making bridges, power plants, strong concrete and other such useful constructions. 4)Manipulate It’s Purpose on Demand: You’ll soon find out, once you start using rice hull ash, that you can easily manipulate it’s qualities to fit any other application. For instance, if you want it to become insulative in property, it can be manipulated to be so. You can even change how permeable it is. This will be good for the construction using it to be made to absorb any spills. You can also make any structure using it, resistant to fire and water. These are some of the important characteristic features of rice husk ash that we can obtain from burnt rice husk. It is characteristics like these which make it so significant for use in any private or commercial requirement of the manufacturing industry.
