Rice husk is a compound or component of rice that is produced in industrial unit during the processing of paddy and termed as milling. Paddy is extracted from fields and subjected to processing furnaces for producing rice. Rice husk is produced at that time of processing. Where in the World RHA is being manufactured? RHA is limited in natural occurrence. Countries like China, Burma and Norway exports RHA and its associated products in great amounts. They are the leading manufacturers of the RHA worldwide. However developed countries such as USA and UK too are in the competition of Rice Husk Ash Manufacturers. Where the RHA is used? RHA comprises amorphous silica which is an agent that can be used for making different varieties of cement. There are lot of ways and number of ways are being are explored through which dumping of RHA can be altered with its commercial use. With the use RHA best possible cement mixes can be prepared which can be used for making bridges, constructing dams, building marine ecosystem and in thermal power plants. Various Methods of Using RHA RHA can be used to manufacture micro silica or amorphous silica which are required for various industrial manufacturing operation and other process which are listed below:      Manufacturing of bio fertilizers Making of specialty paint High performance concrete Waterproofing chemicals Insulators Some Statistics to Know  RHA by weight is 25% of rice husk burned in boilers.  70 million tons of RHA is produced annually worldwide.  RHA contains of about 85-90% amorphous silica.  Of every 1000 kg of paddy milled 220 kg of husk is produced and on burning this amount of husk about 55 kg of RHA is produced.  Due to shortage the price of silica fume has raised up to US$ 500 per ton. Production Methodology The best and the most advanced technology are used for the production purpose of RHA. Blast furnaces which are specially designed are used along with set temperatures and default settings. Trained personal with set skill are deployed for the manufacturing process.
