  18. Summary

  19. Self-study questions There are four tabs at the top of the Twitter Web site. What is the difference between the “Home” and “Profile” pages? What is the purpose of the “Who to Follow” page? We did not cover the “Messages” tab – how is it used? How are the at sign (@) and hash character (#) used in the Twitter community? What are the trending topics right now in Los Angeles? Check an hour later. Have they changed? Are the trending topics in Los Angeles the same as the trending topics in New York? London? The following slide has links to two versions of the same presentation: a video and a “Prezi.” Which do you like best? When you send someone a tweet that begins with @username, does it appear in your tweet stream, theirs or both? What is the difference between a tweet that begins with @username and one that has @username in the middle?
