  2. when the Summer cools down; I let my tea cool down • the plane takes off at noon; he takes off layers of clothes • we all (jumped, went home, said ‘sorry’) • a breeze coming off the ocean; • it is a bit cold, it is a bit warm, a bit tight, a bit sweet • we put off going out • in between sweet and sour • it is only half past four, it is only for a joke, it is only me! • the temperatures go from 0 to 100; the alphabet goes from A to Z; the train goes from Paddington

  3. we ran into a fog; we ran into George in Lannion; we ran into shelter • it may still be cold outside; there may still be time to finish • one talks of bad weather; one talks of how much food costs • some flowers are so strong that…; many places are so hot that… • I ended up with too much food; they ended up looking silly; he ended up in Calais! • You didn’t bother to say goodbye; he didn’t bother to put his coat on.

They drove straight by me; I drove straight past your house; It is straight down the road. • So far it has been easy; so far we can explain; so far the weather has been fine. • He looked embarrassed; I looked silly; she looked pretty as a picture. • It looks like we will be early; it looks as if things will be OK; it looks like snow. • If today is anything like yesterday it will rain; if my suit is anything like yours I will be happy.
