Workshop Overview - Objectives • Understand limitations of traditional approaches to water management and opportunities for improvement based on new understanding of climate and climate change • Conduct a basic climate risk assessment • Develop a simple seasonal forecast • Apply climate risk management principles to water resources • Evaluate current climate and climate projections and appropriateness of downscaling • Become familiar with innovations to mitigate climate risk
