  2. Introduction: This is a 5-Year Strategic Plan (2020 – 2024) for Kitsap Golf & Country Club. It will enable us to better anticipate challenges, and decide how to handle them. This plan will help the Board of Directors focus on the most critical issues and the highest priorities to ensure the continuedsuccess and sustainability of our club. It seeks to shape the future and to achieve desired outcomes within the means available. The Board will report regularly to the members against the key priorityareas. The Plan focuses on 4 Key PriorityAreas: Membership TheClubhouse TheCourse Club Events & Social Environment The Strategic Plan will be the Board’s roadmap for the next 5 years, but the club will continue to welcome members’ suggestions and will react to new opportunities and situations as they arise. Our Vision Be the premier Club on the Kitsap peninsula, offer valued Golf & Social Memberships, and provide an attractive venue for community events. “More Locals, More Golfers and MoreStayers!” Our Mission Kitsap Golf & Country Club offers an exceptional golf experience, outstanding dining and banquet services, and fun social events toits members, families, guests and ourcommunity. We maintain our golf course in excellent condition. We offer a year-round rewarding, enjoyable, and challenging golfexperience. Our clubhouse will be a hub of activity before and after golf for family activitiesand communityevents. We are committed to outstanding customerservice. Our governance, administration, and golf operations will maintain our highstandards. We are known in the wider community as a good corporate citizen, for quality ofour facilities, service and friendly atmosphere, and a leader in the golfingcommunity.

Our StrategicGoals Based on the results of the data collected (survey of members, interviews with Board Directors/Department Heads/Committees, Market Analysis, Mission, etc.), the following are the major directions the Club shouldaddress: Membership Strategic Goal: Achieve Full Membership with Waiting Categories in Diamond, Platinum, Gold, & Bronze Membership while maintaining premier golf & socialprograms. ClubhouseStrategic Goal: Improve Clubhouse Facilities so that they are always the highestquality. CourseStrategicGoal: Continue to Maintain and Strive to Improve Golf Course Grounds so that it is always the highest quality. Club Events & Social EnvironmentStrategic Goal: Continue to offer theHighest Quality Programs, Services and Amenities to ensure satisfaction among the entire Membership &Community.

  8. Membership Strategic Goal: Achieve Full Membership with Waiting Categories in Diamond, Platinum, Gold, & Bronze Membership while maintaining premier golf and social programs. Membership (Initiatives,Targets) • Utilize Competitive Dues Analysis and Current Membership Demographics to Target potential newmembers • Attract Family and YoungMembers • Market to new businesses, newcomers, military (MWR), etc to promote the KG&CCExperience • Create a Welcome Packet • Military Appreciation Event with "Punch Card" incentives to join the KG&CCExperience • Liaison with Real Estate and Title Companies to obtain access to Prospective Members moving to KitsapCounty. • Follow-up with Costco Special and Outside Play as ProspectiveMembers • Objectives: Identify Prospects who meet MembershipCriteria. • Become more recruitment-oriented to assist in identifyingprospects. • Contact prospects and discuss opportunities formembership. • Increase the number of Diamond, Platinum by 25 and Social by 20 in next twoyears. • Update policies, procedures, etc., to insure membership categories are relevant to currentneeds. 8

Clubhouse Strategic Goal: Improve Clubhouse Facilities so that they are always the highest quality. • Clubhouse & Social (Use, Facilities, Amenities) • Facilities - short and long-term improvements needed; look at the little things to be doneinitially • Men and Women's Locker Rooms - major repairs needed in Men's Lockerroom • Pool House & PatioFurniture • Furniture in Clubhouse (tables andchairs) • Improve Lower Meeting Room with Game Roomfeatures • Objectives: • Develop a master long-range plan and schedule for Club improvements and maintenanceprojects. • Develop a Financial Plan to Fund Improvement projects through a combination of revenue sources (Fundraising, aggressive membership recruitment & profitable banquetbusiness). • Allocate Funds According to Members' Priorities: (1) Golf; (2) Clubhouse Dining, (3)Pool. • Make the Club attractive to guests and prospective Members. 9

Club Events & Environment Strategic Goal: Offer the Highest Quality Programs, Servicesand • Amenities to ensure satisfaction among the entireMembership. • Club Events (Golf & SocialEvents) • Increase number of family & junior events. Attract more families into golfing & Social events similar to "Wines On Nines" - possibly "Families On Fairways" to encourage families to get involved with Golf and Socialevents • Add events such as Family Movie/Pizza Night, Line Dancing, Gaming Activities (XBox,competitions) • Advertise Events on Facebook and other SocialMedia • Food quality & Menuselection • Objectives: • Family-Orientedfocus • Strive to offer the bestprograms/activities/events • Increase Member Satisfactionlevels. • Increase Usage of Club byMembers. • Implement changes that were identified from the Membershipsurvey. 11
