Window Goop - Light Effects and Security Apart from all the known advantages of Window Goop being discussed, one area where Window Goop doesn’t draw much attention is its effects (or lack thereof) on lighting internally. Recently we protected windows on some projects and one of the biggest complimentary comments received was how little the Window Goop effected the lighting internally of the rooms. As Window Goop dries to an opaque finish, it doesn’t dull the light nor have any effect on the colouring within the room. This is a very important point to be made, as some products used in the construction industry protecting windows tend to be coloured which can have a great impact on the trades trying to work inside, especially on dull, cloudy days.

2. As can be seen here, Window Goop merely softens the sharpness of the sunlight and can aid the trade person working inside. Another advantage of Window Goop being opaque is that it tends to stop prying eyes from the street looking in and seeing what building materials may have been stored inside.
