  2. What is internet? • According to Cambridge Dictionaries online (2011), internet is the large system of connected computers around the world which allows people to share information and communicate with each other using email.

  3. Why is internet good? • It is the biggest educational center of information in the world. • It allows people to communicate with people around the world. • It allows people to make money transactions from their homes.

Easy access for anyone to pornographic material (allowing children and teenagers to watch this kind of material). • A recent survey by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children found that one of four children between the ages of 10 and 17 were exposed to unwanted online pornography in the preceding year.

  6. One of the saddest things: • Human traffic (selling people as slaves in the internet; children, teenagers, women).

  7. President Bill Clinton signed into law the Child Online Protect Act (COPA) in 1998. COPA established federal criminal penalties for communicating, sending, or displaying for commercial purposes online material "harmful to minors” to underage users. • But it was appealed with the claiming that preventing distribution of pornographic material to minors will also deny adults the access to this kind of material.

It makes easy for online thieves to see your personal information and steal your identity. • In 2000 a Youth Internet Safety Survey taken by boy and girls around 12 years, show up that : • Most of the students reported the beginnings of high-risk Internet behavior, specifically, giving out personal information, and for a small number of students, chatting with strangers and starting relationships.

  9. Every one can see and read anything you post in the internet, ( Facebook, twitter, etc.). • A huge consume of time, (bad for everyone).

  10. internet has even changed sexuality • In 2008, the National Campaign to Prevent Teen and Unplanned Pregnancies and CosmoGirlhired TRU to interview 1,280 people (ages 13-26) on the subject. Among the findings: • 20 percent of teens (1 of 5 teens) have posted or texted nude or semi-nude photos or videos of themselves online.

  11. 33 percent of young adults have posted or texted nude or seminude photos or videos of themselves online • 39 percent of teens have sent sexually suggestive texts, emails or instant messages. • 59 percent of young adults have sent sexually suggestive texts, emails or instant messages.
