Preparation for the Demo • Download a copy of the Segmentation Wizard to your desktop – you can obtain a copy of the segmentation wizard from: • Correct the properties value. • Create a new campaign record for your demo • Add tasks, budget and recipients. • Change the email addresses for the contacts to your own email address. • Preload content in to the content database. • Using the Segmentation Wizard toolbar buttons: • Manage Segments > New > Dynamic Segment • Do not set any filters on any of the objects to get a segment that includes all of the contacts in the demo account • Upload Segments button in the Segmentation Wizard to load the segment as recipients for a campaign (you should create a new campaign for each demo).
Selecting recipients. • Add recipients to a campaign using Campaign Recipient view or using Segmentation Wizard. • Segmentation wizard - 10,000 to 30,000 recipients. • More than 30,000 requires the use of analytics. • Demo Segmentation wizard
What is EMOD - keep it simple • EMOD requires a separate license • Includes unlimited users • 10,000 emails per month • 500mb marketing content library • Currently supports European languages • Japanese, Korean and Chinese is targeted for future release.Probably June timeframe. • Online training and documentation is available from CRM-on-Demand website.
