  3. Reminders • On-line Registration: • Deadline for registering is 30 September 2013 after which a late registration fee of up to £200 will be charged

  4. Reminders Changing optional course choices: • Instructions are available via the MBS UG intranet • Co-requisites: you must take these courses as well • Pre-requisites: you must have passed at 40% or more (not a compensated fail) • Choose your courses by 4 October 2013 Choosing seminar groups: • Move from ‘holding seminar / workshop’ to the slot of your choice

Degree Classification – Weighted Average The overall mark for a programme is a weighted average of the overall marks for different years of the programme For the BSc (Hons) in Accounting 3 year programme, the weightings are: • Year 1: Zero • Year 2: 33% • Year 3: 67% The overall mark ranges for determining final class are: · for class 1, not less than 70.0%; · for class 2i, less than 70.0% but not less than 60.0%; · for class 2ii, less than 60.0% but not less than 50.0%; · for class 3, less than 50.0% but not less than 40.0%.

Progression to final year • reach the minimum pass mark overall (40%); • reach the pass mark (40%) in individual course units totalling at least 80 credits; • reach the pass mark (40%) in all designated core course units*; and • reach the compensatable fail mark (30%) in all remaining course units (a maximum of 40 credits) *BMAN 23000 Foundations of Finance *BMAN 21020 Financial Reporting and Accountability
