Main Theme of this Film • This film shows the “Luke's Resistance“ against power. • During the drastic social changes in 1960s America, "Luke's Resistance" plainly shows the conflict between old generation who wants to keep their vested interests and new generation who needs a new social order. • But the world did not change so easily, and their resistance quickly subdue by ruthless authority. • However, Luke never give up. He continue to break out the prison, and even he got caught and got a cruel punishment he still try to escape the prison. • As his colleague howled at the end of the movie, "The world maybe shake a bit". Anyway, Luke did his resistance till the last moment.
