Best Shortcut Key Used In MS Excel: 1.Insert New Worksheet in Excel: To add new worksheet into the current workbook, you have to press and hold Shift key, press F11 and you can release both keys. This will insert a new worksheet in the current workbook. 2.Wrap Text on Two Lines: In case, the text in a cell runs beyond the border of the cell, then you have to wrap the text so that the text remains within the cell. If you want to set the cell to automatically wrap, then you have to select the cell and this will open the Format Cells dialog box. Now, you have to go to the Alignment tab, and then just select the Wrap text check box. This will automatically wrap the text inside the cell. 3.Add Current Date: In case, you want to enter the date into any cell of your worksheet, then you have to press Ctrl+; (Semicolon). This will work if you have clicked once on the cell, or double-clicked on the cell just to enter Edit mode. This shortcut will insert the current date into the cell. 4.Add Current Time: To add the current time to worksheet, you have to press ctrl +shift+;. This will work whether the cell is selected or in Edit mode. This method will insert the current time into the cell.

  3. 5.Insert A Hyperlink: First, you have to select the cell where you want to insert the hyperlink. Then you have to type a word to act as anchor text and hit Enter key. After this, again select the cell to make it active cell.Then you have to press the Ctrl and K keys on the keyboard just to open the Insert Hyperlink dialog box. Now in the Address text box, you should type a full URL and just select OK and then close the dialog box.
